Bug Description
When I start Firefox a Firefox zombie process starts sometimes (not always) and then goes away after a few seconds (stays sometimes until firefox is closed). This problem occurs with four computers (2 laptops and 2 desktops running ubuntu 10.04, 11.10, precise beta 1 and beta 2) I also have this same problem with Thunderbird. (Maybe I should make a separate bug report for that.)
Reproducible: Sometimes
Firefox version: 11.0~b4+
Expected: No zombie process
What happened instead: Zombie process starts
Hardware: Core i7 2600K Nvidia GTX 570 8 GB ram (my desktop) running ubuntu 10.04.4 64 bit with latest updates (precise beta 1 tested)
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ some nvidia graphics card 1GB ram running ubuntu 11.0 32 bit (desktop) (latest updates)
acer aspire core i5 6gb ram nvidia optimus (my laptop) (ubuntu 11.10 tested)
acer apsire core i5 6gb ram sandy bridge graphics laptop (ubuntu precise beta1 tested)
Firefox safe mode does NOT help!

I would like to add that I have this same problem with other distros like Fedora 16, Linux mint 12, Debian 6 and Arch Linux.
