Frequent multi-second UI freezes with 11.0~b1+build1-0

Since the upgrade to firefox=11.0~b1+build1-0, there have been repeated multi-second UI freezes/hangs in Firefox. This can last anywhere from 5 seconds to 30 seconds, during which Firefox does not respond to mouse or keyboard input.

Ideally the application should respond to user input within the HIG limit of 100 milliseconds.

I'm seeing something similar every time firefox window gets focused. As long as it keeps the focus, all is fine. Is it the same for you? I noticed removing all bookmarks avoided this problem.

It works for me again. Can this bug be closed, or do you still experience this?

We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. You reported this bug some time ago and there have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time.

Presumably this problem was a one time occurrence and/or is no longer an issue? Can the bug report now be closed? If we do not hear from you the bug report will close itself in approximately 60 days time.
