Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

From the Attached Crash Report:
Distro Release: Ubuntu 6.10
System Arch: i686
Package (version): firefox (2.0.0.2+0dfsg-0ubuntu0.6.10)
Source Package: firefox

Original Description:
I'm running Ubuntu Edgy under VMWare Server on top of Windows XP, Intel Core Duo 2.67GHz, 512MB of RAM assigned to the VM. I leave the server running 24x7 but Ubuntu seems to be rebooting about once a day (never when I'm home, I'll get home from work to be greeted by the X-windows login screen). This time the bug reporter application (sorry, not sure what it's real name is) said that Firefox had caused the crash and gave me a crash file to send on. This install of Ubuntu is only about two weeks old, Firefox updated to 2.0.0.2 from 2.0.0.1 a few days ago. The following is from the /var/log/messages file for the time from when I last used Ubuntu to when I came back from work.

We are going to close this bug report (unless someone says the opposite) because it looks that it was caused by adobe's flashplugin which we can do anything about it, since it is closed source. You might want to report it upstream directly.
