The "Open containing folder" option in Firefox download window does not make nautilus highlight the downloaded file in that directory

In Windows, when you select "Open containing folder" from the firefox Downloads window, the directory is opened with the downloaded file auto-selected. This doesn't happen in ubuntu, and causes users a headache to find the downloaded file. Based on this thread it seems to be a firefox problem: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=632427

or when you unzip a file, the extracted directory is auto-selected and the zip file is moved to recycle bin in Mac OS X
