When I did the recovery install, I got a lot of warnings about this pixmap object. Otherwise Firefox runs well. I think this just constitutes a notice that things are missing.

Could well be. I also get the same thing when I call synaptic from a console.

Is there some new feature that just isn't quite there yet?
