Thanks for the bug report.

Did this crash report pop up after you logged in?

You remember if your last X session has been shutdown forcefully somehow?

You're welcome.

This one may have. The icon was on the top right of the screen.

I am almost certain that it did not. I almost never do that and not
recently.

Recently this message happens rather regularly so I wonder if it isn't a
"feature" which accompanied one of my recent upgrades! I install all of
the upgrades from Ubuntu.

Is ctrl-alt-backspace a forceful shutdown? I did that recently to test
a change in fstab. I was getting this Firefox message well before that,
though.

Did you get the crash report well before too? Otherwise this would be
bug 73536.

I got it several times before and ignored it but finally decided to

Anyway, I still think its the same bug ... we should test if your problems go away if we fixed bug 73536 ... so marking as duplicate for the time being.
