Find highlight behavior not correct for text in a form

This is about Firefox 1.0PR (version 0.99+1.0PR-0ubuntu1).

Go to a web page that has text inside some forms.
(This bug report page is an example.)
Activate the Find panel (eg ctrl-F), and click on Highlight.
In the Find field, type some text that also exists in a
form in the web page. As you type, the corresponding text up
in the form in the web page will be highlighted in yellow,
as it should be. But when you backspace and delete
some characters in the Find field, the highlighted text does
"unhighlight" to match the text in the Find field.
