firefox gfx.color_management.mode colors displayed incorrectly

Binary package hint: firefox

In Ubuntu 11.04 colors are not displayed correctly in firefox. The sollution:

go to about:config and change the value for gfx.color_management.mode from 2 to 0 and restart firefox.

I've added two screenshots to show the wrong displayed colors on a very popular dutch news site www.nu.nl

Another attachment to show how the colors should be displayed.

The colors appear wrong on many many sites. This is annoying for unexperienced computer users and they will not use firefox 4 and switch to Chrome or Opera which do not use color management as far as i know.

Even the colors of this launchpad site appear wrong look at the Ubuntu logo.

This happened to me with firefox 4 on two different notebooks. So i know this problem affects many many people.

Confirmed and setting gfx.color_management.mode to 0 fixed it.

It's amaizing that a such old bug exist in Firefox (2008).
