Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
Have automatically updated to 1.5.0.9 & now the URL www.weather.com causes the application to crash during the page fetch.

Lots of URLs cause this. I'm seeing exactly the same thing (ubuntu 6.06, updated to FF 1.5.0.9 this morning).
Here's a recipe that (should) avoid any locally installed cookies, extensions, etc. and causes FF to segfault every single time for me, on a simple page with no fancy media etc. (a Mailman login page):
mkdir $HOME/fftest $HOME/fftest firefox -a fftest http:// lists.gnu. org/mailman/ admindb/ help-make
HOME=
Type in a password, something bogus like "foobar" (it doesn't matter what password you use).
When FF asks if you want to remember the password, click "Remember". Say Continue to sending unencrypted info.
Boom!! Instant crash.
Further, if you restart FF with the same URL (without deleting the fftest directory) it will immediately crash again, every time.
