Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Firefox 2.0 on latest updated Edgy (as of Dec 15 2006).

Crashed while building the file selector when I tried to Open File...

Thank you for the bug report.

Could you please install the firefox-dbg package and obtain another crash report by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

 The areas in your crash report that state "(no debugging symbols found)" are usually where the info that is needed to make a useful crash report is stored. If you could do this and resubmit it will help us look into your bug
