Crash during change which player should be used

I'm went to www.bbcnews.com and start to watch a video. BBC offers to choices, Windows Media Player or Realplayer. My choice was Realplayer, but nothing happens. I decided to change my choice and as I do so, firefox crashed.
My System:

Hello David,
have a look to this attachment. I've just created.
What I'm done:
1) install firefox-dbg
2) went to page www.bbcnews.com
3) click on watch video
4) select which player, my choice realplayer
5) realplayer doesn't work
6) change settings (lower left corner)
    to Media Player
7) crash happened
8) firefox created dump

I hope this dump is better for you.

the BBC have just changed their video player.

They seem to have worked the issue out themselves; is this bug dead or does it apply to more generic circumstances?

I just tested it at BBC and you are right. Realplayer doesn't work. I changed the settings to Windows Media Player and know it works. No crash. ~:)

Based on the stacktrace I think that this is actually a gtk error. The error may be occurring when attempting to draw some part of the video player.
