Firefox shutdown while trying to save an .gif image

I had just opened up a new window with a set of house plans in it and had just opened the image in the same window useing the "Show Image" promt from the menu after useing the right mouse click.

I went to save the image and firefox after a 5-7 second hangup just shut down by it's self and just after it finished gathering the required information the prompt came back asking me if i wanted to start a new session or restart the previous session.

Attached is the bug report gathered from the crash.

Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which firefox extensions do you have installed?

There seems to be a moderate number of reports with the same behaviour so unless someone thinks the opposite I'm going to merge those common reports.

We still need more information on this bug, so please any new comment/attach should go into bug #45008 as it might be the master bug of this problem. Please try to follow the hints in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox it will be of great help for us in tracking down this problem.
