Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

I am finding that when I view Brian Williams Nightly News at http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3032619/ns/nightly_news/ the flash viewer provides a great viewing, but when I view my local station at http://www.king5.com/ (an NBC affiliate) it will not show their flash movies, just a black screen. I dual boot with Windows XP and there is no problem with viewing King 5 there.

ogobeone, this bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ .

If it remains an issue, could you please run the following command in the development release from a Terminal (Applications->Accessories->Terminal), as it will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report:

apport-collect REPLACE-WITH-BUG-NUMBER

Please note, given that the information from the prior release is already available, doing this on a release prior to the development one would not be helpful.

Thank you for your understanding.

I'm sorry but I didn't see this message until now. I no longer use Ubuntu
and so cannot test the problem with the latest version. I am actually
using Debian and flash is working fine at King5 News as long as I enable
all plugins (in non-free Chrome).
