Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. We'd be grateful if you would provide a more complete description of the problem.

Could you please install the firefox-dbg package and obtain another crash report by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of Firefox problems. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs

Can you reproduce this bug with a new profile? Thanks!

I'm seeing what might be a similar crash in Firefox. Probably happens every couple of days or so. Possibly happens after accidently mouse-selecting some text to drag. In the attached, the GNOME 'drag' cursor showed up, and was still able to move around, but meanwhile Firefox crashed.

Regarding debug symbols, isn't the whole point of this crash reporting utility supposed to be that it downloads the necessary debug symbols itself?

Cheers
JP

I dragged a link and dropped on the same page (by accident), the firefox-dragging-link-icon was visible after I dropped, then firefox bombed.
