Crashed while saving image from web page

Package: firefox 2.0+0dfsg-0ubuntu3

4 tabs were open including the mail client from yahoo.com, slashdot, and google. The fourth tab was loaded with the page http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/gallery/s2_05-06gallery/1024/ageofsteel.jpg
I right clicked and chose save image as. The border of the save dialog window was displayed, but never filled completely in. Firefox then crashed.

Trying to save this picture that I'd found through a google search. No other tabs, had zoomed in while it was loading, and then zoomed back out also before it had finnished. Tried saving after file was fully displayed, zoomed out. processor maxed for a few seconds, then program crash.

What type of video card do you have?

 Could you please install firefox-dbg and try to obtain a backtrace (or crash report) by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

There seems to be a moderate number of reports with the same behaviour so unless someone thinks the opposite I'm going to merge those common reports.

We still need more information on this bug, so please any new comment/attach should go into bug #45008 as it might be the master bug of this problem. Please try to follow the hints in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox it will be of great help for us in tracking down this problem.

Same as first report. I had 5 or 6 tabs open. Right clicked on an image, selected "Save Image As..", outline of box opened and after a short period of time (I wasn't paying that close of attention, but maybe 10-15 seconds) Firefox crashed.
