Firefox 2 and Flash crashes

Bug Description

Install Firefox 2 from ubuntu 6.10, install the flash viewer from macromedia (either version 7 or version 9 beta) and visit a site that has flash.

The attachment is the crash report generated with flash player 9 beta.

Version 7 of the flash player does not generate any debug info.

It was because I was running at 16 bit color depth. Changing it to 24 bit color dept in xorg.conf fixed the problem.

Lots of articles in the internet about it.

Oddly enough it was not an issue with the older Ubuntu 6.06.
