firefox seems to crash UI on close

when running firefox on the netbook style desktop for 10.10 when you close firefox the screen will go fully black, after a moment windows will come back, then they will actually fill in correctly, and finally the left hand program dock will come back. It seems to only happen after having browsed on firefox for at least a little while. Running an eee pc 900. Installed firefox: 3.6.12+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.10.10.1
