Bug Description

Firefox in Dapper (1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.7-ubuntu0.6.06) on i686 crashes when opening some sites. Michal Zalewski has put together some pages that expose those bugs. Mind you! Visiting the following links may (and most probably will) crash your browser!

* http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/ffoxdie.html
* http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/ffoxdie2.html
* http://lcamtuf.coredump.cx/ffoxdie3.html

Via http://www.kriptopolis.org/los-torpedos-de-zalewski.

For instance, in my setup only the first link makes FF crash. At Kriptopolis you may find the results of several people under different platforms (in Spanish).

Thanks for your bug report. Could you please install firefox-dbg and try to obtain a backtrace (or crash report) by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which firefox extensions do you have installed?

Thanks
David
