Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
The first tab in firefox has a loading icon that never disappears, no matter which page is the first tab. In addition to that, when it gets this loading icon that never goes away I cant close the tab through conventional means.
The steps I use to close the tab are:
1. I right click the tab and select "Open in a New Window"
2. I close the new window that opens.
3. Back to the original window I still have a tab I cant close, however now it is all blank. So I close firefox all together.
When I reopen firefox the tab is gone, however usually within minutes the constant loading thing happens again and I have to rinse and repeat if I want to close the tab.
I doubt you ubuntu guys care, however this exact same problem happens in Windows, so I think it may be something with a recent change in firefox codebase.

After deletion of the tabs to the right of the frozen tab, it leaves one untitled tab to the right which cannot be deleted.
If another tab is opened to it's right, the tab may be deleted, but another opens instantly.
