Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
("Page" here refers to a "pageful" of content displayed in the viewport, NOT an html page)
I am using Kubuntu 10.10, and when Kwin desktop effects are enabled, Firefox fails to draw the page content correctly after a page down/page up command: artifacts of the previous page remain on the screen. The extent to which the old content remains varies; it can be a few pixels-wide line, or the whole previous page. The behavior is irrespective of whether the paging command is activated via the keyboard or clicking on the scrollbar. The cursor keys, or dragging the scrollbar does not seem to trigger the problem; however, maybe it is just that it is more difficult to spot.
The problem does not appear if Kwin compositioning is switched off. However, even with compositioning turned on, only Firefox 3.6 shows this kind of behavior; other applications, including Firefox 4.0 beta are unaffected.

I am experiencing the same bug in Kubuntu 10.10 (regression from 10.04). Since it might depend on the video driver, let me add that I am using a Lenovo X200 Tablet with intel graphics. lspci reports
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])
Also, while firefox is the application that most readily exhibits the bug, I have noticed similar glitches in a few other applications (e.g. kile) since upgrading to 10.10.
