Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox
The problem is particular apparent with the new Google's images search page, which has just switched its layout and shows lots of images in a single page.
Before all visible images have been loaded, the browser is really slow, unresponsive, sometimes taking some second to react. The problem persist if you scroll down and images that become visible have still not been loaded.

Today I tried to search images on my netbook (which ships with a single-core Celeron), but loading and scrolling is nicely fluent.
Could this bug be related to graphic driver or other related components? My netbook has an Intel graphic card, well supported, while my desktop has an Ati 4870.
