Yes it seems to be the same. In that bug (https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/583931) the description "a sound type "PACMAN" is much better than mine. Is there any idea how this little "old fashioned" video games music, can be stopped?

I have uninstalled firefox completely from system through synaptic, then rebooted and reinstalled it with home page a "blanc" page. The non-stopping sound type police siren is persisting.
