Comment 9 for bug 583122

The bug appears to be related to the suggestion feature and possibly the spelling-correction-feature. When you type something in a field, suggestions come up (based on what you have previously typed in the same or similar fields). When the described bug appears, the auto-suggestions stop working.

Suggested workarounds from http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=9724642#post9724642:
• Right-click the search bar and uncheck "Show Suggestions"
• Go to "Preferences -> Advanced" and uncheck "Check my spelling as I type"
