Firefox search widget selects itself while typing

When I type into the Google search box in Firefox, I expect my typing to happen without problem.
When I typo into the search box, after a few letters the type gets selected.

I also found that the problem happened for some users in 9.04 and 9.10.

I have the same problem. It seems that ALT-TABBING out of Firefox and back solves the problem temporarily. It will return however, though it is tough to say how long it takes.
