Kernel Linux 2.6.32.17-generic
Gnome 2.29.2
After last software update, including new linux kernel, It is not possible to start firefox in the usual way.
Launching Firefox in debug mode (-g option), this following error is displayed:
"/usr/lib/
However, it is possible to launch firefox issuing the command gksu -u root firefox %u in terminal.
Trying to remove and reinstalling does not solve the problem.

You're most likely experiencing bug 518422, so I'm going to change this to be a bug about the debugger not working rather than marking as a duplicate. Bug 518422 should be fixed with an update to 3.6.2 which will be released to Lucid soon. Also, running Firefox as root causes a lot of headaches and is not suggested.
