System Logs out occasionally on RETURN in entry field

This is an infrastructure bug. I've had this behaviour happen in various entry field boxes.
Sometimes when I enter a password or web address when I press enter I get logged out of the system. When logging back in again this does not happen again - appears to happen soon after system start.
I upgraded my previous version to Lucid. I occasionally get packages complaining of missing dependencies but after package restart they appear to function OK (this may be an unrelated problem).
