Bug Description
1) Open the following link in firefox 3.5.8:
* http://
2) Choose link "download NFO"
3) On the Open Dialog, make sure "Open With gedit" is selected and click OK to open
4) Watch the following error appear:
<<file>> could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.
This error should not happen... On step 3 I had selected "open with gedit", yet gedit fails to launch and the file never opens.

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu install, that affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug can't be addressed as part of this project.
- This is bug and not a papercut /wiki.ubuntu. com/PaperCut.
For further information about papercuts criteria, please read https:/
Don't worry though, this bug has been marked as "Invalid" only in the papercuts project.
