Can't Enter URL or Search In Firefox

After updating today to firefox-3.6+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 I can no longer search or go to web sites in Firefox. The address bar will allow you to type however nothing happens when the enter key is pressed. The search box also displays the same behaviour - I can enter text but I cannot cause Firefox to take any action based upon it.

I can confirm this on i686, same package versions.

Launching Firefox with -safe-mode does not help. I cannot enter any URL manually. Also the search box and File>Open Location don't work. Everything else seem ok.
