Firefox crashes on some sites.

Firefox with Drapper flight 5 and latest updates crashes on certain websites. One example is www.nhl.com as firefox just quits badly.

Works fine here. What architecture are you running on? Do you have the Flash plugin installed?

If so please remove it to test. I've had problems with Flash sometimes crashing and removing then reinstalling it fixed the problem.

Could you confirm this is related to the flash plug-in, by exemple using flashblock to browse the site?

Hi,
it looks like that the flash plugins play a role, as I tested the non
free plugin on Kubuntu with
firefox and no extensions and the browser quit. On Ubuntu I have several
extensions
installed which might cause the issue in combination with the flash.
Need there more testing
which extension might cause a problem.

after some intense testing by removing and adding extensions and
installing the flash
packages and removing them, the conclusion is that the following
packages have issues
with firefox:

flashplayer-mozilla
flashplugin-nonfree
libflash-swfplayer
libflash-mozplugin
libflash0c2

so overall the conclusion is that flash does not work.
