File conflicts with mozilla-browser

Bug Description

When trying to upgrade, I get this error:

(Reading database ... 156763 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace firefox 1.5.dfsg-4ubuntu6 (using .../firefox_1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-1ubuntu2_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement firefox ...
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/firefox_1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.1-1ubuntu2_i386.deb (--unpack):
 trying to overwrite `/usr/lib/libxpcom.so', which is also in package mozilla-browser
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Please restart any running Firefoxes, or you will experience problems.

A package failed to install. Trying to recover:

I have likewise run into this same problem. Running Dapper with the latest attempted updates. Same error messages and conflict with libxpcom.so

Several users have confirmed this issue.

Set to major, because there is also other software, which depends on mozilla-firefox, namley eclipse. This means that eclipse is currently uninstallabe with firefox installed.

It was a mistake (which has now been fixed) of mozilla to provide that
file, and I have also decided that it was a mistake (now fixed) for
firefox to provide it with that name.
