Difficult to interact with very large number of tabs

    When the number of open tabs in firefox is sufficiently large that the cumulative icon widths exceed the browser width, the user must use Ctrl-tab to switch tabs. Ideally, there should be a GUI interface to access the rightmost tabs.

There is a way to interact with tabs on the right: alt-tab. Still, this is not ideal.

I can not reproduce issue 2.

I don't think this shouldn't be wishlist, as it's clearly an interface bug.

To reproduce #2, set the browser size to ~1/4 of the area of the screen, and open sufficient tabs to overflow the tab view. Adjust the window size to ensure that the the close tab button covers ~1/2 of the last visible tab. Activate the rightmost visible tab to bring it into the foreground: the image refresh will draw over the full size of the tab, temporarily obscuring the left side of the close tab button. The close tab button is restored with mouseover due to the refresh from highlighting.

I can no longer reproduce this issue (with version 1.5.dfsg-4ubuntu6). I don't see anything specific in the changelog, but if someone else could confirm this no longer occurs, perhaps it could be closed.

I don't see the close tab button disappear, but cannot interact with tabs on the right when opening ~100 tabs.

Thanks for the reply. I agree that this is a defect. However, I
think that this would be best addressed upstream; we don't have the
resources in the Ubuntu project for implementing such a feature,
maintaining the delta, working to push it upstream, etc.

This is the kind of thing that upstream are probably already aware of,
so I'm just closing the bug.

If you want to check, feel free to go to the upstream Bugzilla and
search to see if a bug of this nature is already reported. If not
then I'm sure they'd appreciate the report.
