After update, firefox returns error ASSERT: *** Search: _installLocation: engine has no file!

Bug Description

I am usung Ubuntu 8.04 with slovenian language pack. Today I got some updates 8including firefox update) and after firefox restart, it opens pop-up with the following message:

ASSERT: *** Search: _installLocation: engine has no file!

OK, I resolved tne mystery. Firefox was not restarted, although, I clicked restart Firefox and Firefox window disapeared! ps -A showed the proces, which I killed, and then FF started working.

This error message occurs only after an update to Firefox and before a restart of the program. After a restart, the error is gone.
