Bug Description
I am using Intrepid Alpha 6 (amd64).
When I first started Firefox after a fresh installation of Intrepid, the window was misplaced: It was so far on the top left of the screen, that the window titlebar was out of the desktop. I could only put it back into reach of my mouse by clicking on the frame and using "Maximize".
This also happens often, when I click on a link that opens a new window: Sometimes I only see the lowest part of the status bar. I can easily reproduce this on the website www.tagesschau.de. When I open an article which has also a video attached and I click on "Weitere Video-Formate", the new window is placed beyond the top of my screen. Direct link for example: http://
Maybe I should mention, that my screen resolution is 1280 x 800. Any more information I can provide?

I see the same thing.
I'm using an Acer AL1711 LCD display - resolution 1280x1024.
The system is a Dual-Core Atom - D945GCLF2 - 2GB ram
When I ran the live distro from a USB drive, the top panel was off the screen - and the firefox window controls were under it (ie obscured). I could however see the bottom panel.
After installing, the top panel appears ok - but again the firefox window is underneath - and now the bottom panel has disappeared.
By altering the display from the monitor controls I can see part of the top and bottom panel simultaneously.
