firefox can't read locally installed fonts

What happen instead- firefox web browser which come preinstalled with 22.04 LTS can not read or apply the fonts which I kept in /.local/share/fonts folder. It only read font which installed in /usr/share/fonts. I don't want to install fonts into root directory. Applications like Google Chrome, LibreOffice can read the local installed fonts without any problem. Firefox snap can display the local directory fonts but can not apply them.

Expected- Fonts in local directory can be read perfectly by firefox browser.
