Title: package firefox (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: new firefox package pre-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install)
Hello,
I realize it's pretty late now (apologies for that) but do you happen to have the systemd journal logs from the time of this failure? Could you reproduce this issue today if you were to attempt another upgrade on a similar system with up-to-date packages? Were there any non-typical system configuration aspects? The logs suggest that the core22 snap could not be located, which is very strange and unexpected. Without further details I'm afraid there's not much to go on by to try and debug this.
Thanks.
