Bug Description
I have my screen dpi set to 82 (via the gnome preferences) which makes fonts the
right size for my screen. Rendered pages in firefox correctly respect this
setting, however the fonts in the gui still remain very large.

I have the same issue--with dpi set to 75, Firefox insists on using a larger
font size for its menus, etc. than every other gnome application. Like original
reporter I am running Breezy.

Ah, this seems to be fixed now, if you log out after you change your font settings.

Sorry, updated today, rebooted (there were udev fixes) and the problem still
persists. There was a not in the new firefox changelog about switching to
pangocairo or something like that.

Extra note: This only started happening when using breezy, everything is fine
with hoary.
