The 'frontend' informing dialog about migration to Firefox snap froze, had to kill it to resume upgrade to 22.04

Did the upgrade succeed after killing that dialog?

Can you try reinstalling the firefox package and share the output here?

    sudo apt reinstall firefox

Upgrade succeeded after killing the dialog.

Since then I switched to Firefox deb https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/04/how-to-install-firefox-deb-apt-ubuntu-22-04

"Invalid" is wrong, since the upgrade finished without a working Firefox installation.
