Bug Description

A few days ago there was an update for firefox. Since installing this update the

The most problems crashes the browser. The problems are on both computers i run
on (K)ubuntu. An Athlon 1700, and
an intel 333 deshute computer.
I cannot use the history and extensions-windows in the firefox menu, the browser
crashes when i try to open the
windows.
Ctrl-T and Ctrl-H crashes the browser

When i start firefox from the console with firefox --debug, the browser works ok.

Extensions giving problems: Customize Google, Conquery, tab preferences.

I have had similar problems. Ctrl-H doesn't work, the extension window
occasionally does, mostly crashes the browser. Could the bug be related to the
regression introduced in Firefox 1.0.5?

ReleaseNotes for 1.0.6 say :
* Restore API compatibility for extensions and web applications that did not
work in Firefox 1.0.5.

I removed $HOME/.mozilla in case a broken extension was the cause, but this only
partially fixes things. As soon as you open the extensions dialogue, without
installing anything, there are problems again and the history fails.
