Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

this issue I'm reporting can be reproduced on any site using javascript to show dynamic menus, for example: http://www.fis-ski.com/
when selecting any of the links on the left, such as "Cross-Country" or "Ski Jumping" the related menu items appear without background and are confused with the "static" page content.

I'm not sure this is an issue with the Ubuntu release, but it dows not happen on Windows.

It seems to render the site correct here with the same firefox version.

Could you do a screenshot of the problem?

I'm attaching a snapshot.

Your issue may be a matter of preferences. I reproduce it if I don't "allow sites to choose colors".

Here is a snapshot describing the preferences set to reproduce this issue.
You may solve it if you tick the checkbox #3

(apologize my weird english)

Thank you Yannick. That was in fact the reason why I didn't see the problem in Windows, because there I didn't have this option set.
You can close this.

Thanks,
