I can download Firefox 57.0.tar but don't know how to install it.I am using UBUNTU 16.04 LTS and Firefox 53.0 (32 Bit).

However, it seems that you were trying to use a software package that was not provided by the official Ubuntu repositories. Because of this the Ubuntu project can not provide support.
Were you saying that you were not receiving automatic updates to Firefox so downloaded directly from their website?
You should now be using Firefox 61.0.1 if your system has been updating correctly. Please let us know if you are still having problems. If we do not hear from you the bug report will close itself in approximately two months time.
