Bookmark folder does not copy the content into another profile

You have different firefox profiles.
You want to copy the bookmark folder 'foo' including some bookmarks into another profile.
The folder gets copied, but without content.
This is since a long time, maybe version 40 or so, I was hoping it eventually works again, but unfortunately not.
Still the case with 50.0
