Bug Description

Quick fix: Don't leave Firefox running when not in use.

Reboot
sign in and start Firefox
goto youtube.com and watch any video
start xterm(1) run top(1) you will always see plugin-container near or at top
or
let system sit for a while or overnight
# ps -ef | less
look at the "TIME" field
or you could use
# ps -ef | sort -t: -nr -k3 | head -1
to see it sorted by TIME field
and for me this is returned:

dan 17148 15252 27 13:36 ? 00:59:04 /usr/lib/firefox/plugin-container /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so -greomni /usr/lib/firefox/omni.ja -appomni /usr/lib/firefox/browser/omni.ja -appdir /usr/lib/firefox/browser 15252 true plugin

And this program far out strips all other programs using CPU TIME, also it is causing a slight load.

I guess this is the same issue as:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/635023

But I didn't had the problem with previous version of Firefox. I also have nvidia card but didn't install drivers, I guess I run on Nouveau.

Is there any browser available on Ubuntu which does not have this issue? I experienced this with Chrome and tried Firefox, only to find out it's just as bad (FF 51.01 64bit on Ubuntu 16.04.2).
