I just upgraded to 13.10 from 13.04 where firefox ran well, so this is new.

Expected:
Visible firefox window with everything working as normal
____________________________________________________________________
What I got:
Running on Kubuntu multiple desktops and multiple workspaces, but firefox isn't visible on any. The process manager does see it and it has a window title, but I just can't activate it.
____________________________________________________________________
What I tried:
- I tried previously with firefox-24.0*.deb and upgraded using the official firefox-next ppa hoping it was fixed (it obviously isn't).
- I also tried creating a new profile in the profile manager, but that didn't help.
If there is a way to activate console debug output, I would send that in. Or tell me where to put the gdb breakpoint.

- Running on the Gnome Fallback without effects, all is fine and I can run firefox normally

Hey,
I‘m using KDE and had that problem, too. I rather by chance changed something in the window rules for firefox and voilà, the window reappeared when starting firefox! So I‘m happy now. Hope this will help you too.

Hey Maik,

Thanks for the hint! It did help and firefox is now visible. I didn't have the problem in 13.04. It seems new to 13.10, but I'm not sure if it happens because of old settings coming from KDE in 13.04 or always an issue in 13.10.

If somebody wants to point me to where the settings are saved, I could upload for better debugging.

Cheers!

Closing bug by marking as "Invalid" as it seems to been a KDE issue rather than Firefox.
