doesnt recognize dash "-" in URL

Binary package hint: firefox

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Feisty. Tried to access my friend's blog and smugmug accounts,

http://-js-.blogspot.com
http://-js-.smugmug.com

Both return a Problem Loading... error page.

I have no problems accessing those pages through Firefox on my Windows machine.

I tried with firefox, konqueror and opera and I can't access those pages.

I don't think it's a firefox bug. Maybe Ubuntu doesn't recognize urls with "-".

Interesting thing, I tried accessing the page on RHE 2.4(dont ask) and
it doesnt work as well.
