Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

This bug seems quite different from the #119656.

Google Toolbar works, but just the Google Bookmark in the toolbar doesn't work

The menu show just the add commande and write: "downloading bookmarks" on the top of the menu.
If I try to add a bookmark, the related wiindow appears, I can change the name of the bookmark and add a directory, by I can't validate. Nothing happens when I hit the OK button.

I uninstall and reinstall the Google Toolbar: no effect.
I can access to the Google bookmarks from Ubuntu (same version of Firefox)
I can also access to my Google bookmarks at www.google.com/bookmarks/

That's it!

In talking with people it seems as though google has changed the way the data must be called, and hasn't updated their firefox extension yet. This seems like it's nothing to do with us at all now.

Changed in firefox:

Installed the following packages:
gcc-3.3-base (1:3.3.6-15ubuntu2)
glibc-doc (2.6.1-0ubuntu1)
libstdc++5 (1:3.3.6-15ubuntu2)

This seemed to fix the problem for me.
