ubuntu 10.04 crashing after fresh install

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

After a clean install, ubuntu 10.04 craches often on different moments whitout any trigger... I'm sending you this through ubuntu 9.10 because working with the unpredictibble crashes on 10.04 was a disaster!!! Is this a known bug, and is this recently patched??? After a crash I can't make any use of my keybord or mouse... Only a hard reset does the job!!!

Does xorg-server affects this bug or is it something else???
