Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.5
While entering login details at a financial website (Firefox 3.5 with 6 tabs open, plus Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 running), Ubuntu 9.10 rebooted almost instantly - certainly faster than any restart I've ever done manually. Next I knew I was asked to login to Ubuntu 9.10 again, and had to restart both Firefox and Thunderbird manually. FF restored all 6 tabs to their pre-crash status.
