Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

As I click on download link(s), it asks for where to save and after defining that it starts downloading, but after a little while the download ends with a popup message at the bottom right that "downloads completed successfully" (!) but where a music file is 5MB in average I get only 200/300MB done (not fixed, sometimes less and sometimes more), and it plays for a few seconds though.

I download music from:
www.music.com.bd
www.doridro.com
www.polapain.com
www.murchona.com
www.amaderforum.com

I don't think these sites have any problem because people are downloading from those.

I am using Ubuntu 9.10... kernel version something:something:something at the end there is 17 that all I know. I update regularly when the update manager prompts. I use Ubuntu Netbook Remix in my EEEpc where the version ends with a 20. That is also regularly updated.
