Firefox does not see the translation files after update

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

After upgrade no translation files. Despite the installation of packages Langauge-pack-base-*. (I checked English and Polish, even a new installation of ubuntu) I had to manually install the translation of the xpi file.
