when I open firebug 1.5.0, firefox close automatically.

Firefox segfaults when Firebug 1.5.0 is activated. Using Firefox provided with Ubuntu 9.10, amd64 version.

Firebug 1.5.0 is installed automatically through Firefox's add-on update mechanism.

Temporary workaround:

1. uninstall Firebug 1.5.x extension from Firefox add-ons menu
2. reinstall Firebug 1.4.x through the Ubuntu apt-get repository: $ sudo apt-get install --reinstall firebug
3. never update the extension when Firefox promts you to update
